An ok book of stories set in Weber's Honor Harrington universe. Better than the first one of these, and includes one comedy veering towards the MASH and Catch 22 end of things.
If fact, the worst story is easily Weber's by the numbers Ms. Midshipwoman Harrington lite, about one of her proteges.

As a recent discoverer of the Honorverse (Honor Harrington Series) by David Weber, I'm continually amazed at how well written, and fun, these stories are. Another exception book by David Weber in the Honor Harrington series. I love the female heroine, which is not common in the sci-fi genre of this type, and she is totally believable, totally relatable, and simply amazing! I have read each and every book of this series and except for one, I found them all to be equally compelling. Now, I want one of those cats! (read the book to find out what I mean!)
