Customer Reviews Average Rating: Rating: - all of the essential of waves in the atmosphere and ocean in meteorology and oceanography, there is no escape from the need to know waves well. even if you are not a dynamicist, you may find that you need to be familiar with many kinds of waves. fortunately, Pedlosky has put in one small-ish book a systematic introduction to waves. after studying this book, you will be more comfortable and confident with many things about waves. although you should probably know even more, because to know waves well cannot be overestimated in our fields.
