Dahlia's start blooming in early summer and produce large amounts of flowers and they are especially suitable for bedding plants, balconies and patios. Dahlia's are ideal for cut flowers, borders, containers, and window boxes. They tend to bloom for long periods, and few plants offer as much variety and showy flowers as the Dahlia. They do best in well drained, humus rich soils. 

Little William Dahlia - The Pom Pom Dahlia Little William, 'Dahlia', a spring planted tuberous root, produces small, round balls of tightly rolled bright pink petals about 2 inches in size. The Pom Pom Dahlia take their name from their unusual tight balls of tiered, rounded petals. Dahlia's are ideal for cut flowers, borders, containers, and massings. They tend to bloom for long periods, and few plants offer as much variety and showy flowers as the Dahlia. They do best in well drained, humus rich soils.
