Candidum Caladium - The Caladium Candidum, 'Caladium x hortulanum', are grown for their long-lasting, colorful foliage, and they are used in borders and beds. This fancy foliaged plant has green edges with pink and white centers. It is ideal for pots and hanging baskets on the porch or patio. Caladiums also bloom, but the flowers are insignificant and they drain energy from the plant. Caladiums need protection from full sun for the best growth and color. All parts of this tropical plant are poisonous, so caution is advised around children. 

Suffolk (Red) Grape - The Suffolk Grape (Red), Vitis labrusca 'Suffolk', produces large loss clusters of very round, medium sized red grapes. These grapes are seedless, have very tender skin and are delicious eaten fresh or cooled down as a dessert. The Suffolk grape ripens a couple weeks earlier than the Concord grape. This grape is very winter hardy and can be used for table or commercial uses. Grapevines can be ornamental, and are valuable as shade or screen plants in the home or landscape.
